Next week will be our last week of health class. With that being said, it will be the sexual health unit where I talk to the kids about puberty and what will be happening to their body. For this lesson I will separate boys and girls so hopefully they will feel a little more comfortable. I will be going over male and female body parts with both groups. Today students should be bringing home an OPT OUT form. If you do Not want your student to participate in this lesson, you will need to sign the paper and send it back to Ms. Steinmetz by Tuesday(this is the day of the lesson). If you are ok with your student participating in the lesson, then you do not need to do anything. Attached is the English and Spanish forms that you should be getting from your student today.

If you wish for your student to sit out of the unit and do an alternative assignment, you will need to sign the form and send it back in to Ms. Steinmetz by Friday.
