Happy St. Patrick's Day! Just a reminder the children are permitted to wear green and St. Patrick's themed clothes/accessories tomorrow. They do NOT need to be in uniform bottoms.

Just a reminder that students can dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character tomorrow. If they are not dressed in Dr. Seuss attire, they can be in St. Clement spirit wear and uniform bottoms.

This week our 7th graders will be finishing health class. The last unit that we will cover is the sexual health unit. Today, 7th graders received a letter listing the topics we will cover. If you want your student to participate in the unit, you don't need to do anything. If you DO NOT want your student to participate in this unit, you will need to sign the opt out form at the bottom of the letter and have your student return the form to Ms. Steinmetz by Friday morning (2/23/24).

Students are reminded they are invited to wear red, pink or Valentine themed shorts with their uniform bottoms tomorrow!

Next week our 6th graders should be finishing health class. Our last unit is the sexual health unit. Today Mr. Davis' homeroom received a letter in health class listing the topics that will be covered for the unit. On Thursday, Ms. Mays homeroom will receive the same letter home. If you want your student to participate in the unit, you don't need to do anything. If you would like for your student NOT to participate, you will need to sign the opt out form at the bottom of the letter and have the student return it to Ms. Steinmetz by February 20th.

The Teacher Parent Club would like to thank all of the parents and students for attending the Valentines Dance! 🙌🙌 It was such an AMAZING night. We had well over 150 attendees and the dance floor was packed! A special THANKS to DJ Dan Snelling for making this event so memorable! ♥️♥️♥️

We have dress down passes to go home and now Mr. Delaney's hand hurts from writing so many students' names! Students that improved their scores on their winter i-Ready diagnostic in either math or reading will receive a dress down pass tomorrow. Way to go students!

Today a note went home with all 8th grade students from health class. On Friday, we will be doing our sexual health unit in class. If you want your student to sit through the lesson, you do NOT need to return anything. If you do not want your student to sit through the lesson, you will need to sign and return the letter to school by Thursday, February 8th. If your student was absent they can see Ms. Steinmetz and get a copy.

Today a note went home with all 5th grade students from health class. Next week in health we will be doing a lesson on puberty. If you are ok with your student attending this lesson, you don't need to return anything . If you wish for your student to opt out and not do the lesson, you will need to sign and return the letter that was sent home. The letter will be due by Thursday, February 8th.

Reminder! Our St. Clement School Family Valentines dance is THIS Friday, February 9th 7pm to 830pm in the St. Clement gym. This event is for ALL St. Clement students. This is a family event. All students must be accompanied with an adult. Attention St. Clement Families!! The St. Bernard Recreation Department will be hosting a sports signup at the Recreation Office in the Municipal Building located at 120 Washington Ave in St. Bernard on Saturday, February 3rd from 11am–2pm. You are also welcome to sign up at City Hall located at 110 Washington Ave Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm. This is an extremely affordable way to introduce your kids to sports! Activities include: • Knothole Baseball: $40 Resident/$60 Non-resident (ages 7–13) • Girls Softball: $40 Resident/$60 Non-resident (ages 7–13) • Winter Swim Lessons: $20 (all ages) Tuesday evening or Saturday morning • Mommy & Me Swim Lessons: $20 (ages 6–36 months) Thursday evenings in March • Stingray Swim Team: $40 Resident/$60 Non-resident (ability) • Tee Ball: $20 (ages 4–7) • SAY Soccer: $40 Resident/$60 Non-resident (ages 6–13) • Lollipop Soccer: $20 (ages 3–5)
